Troy J Roovers, MHA, MBA
Troy is currently Chief Executive Officer of Medical Business Services. He has served in this role since 2001.
He has substantial experience working across the full health care spectrum, including supporting hospitals, physician group practices, third party payers, ambulatory surgery centers, vascular access centers, diagnostic imaging centers, sleep centers, nursing homes, sub-acute care providers and others.
He has spent the bulk of his career in senior management and board-level roles supporting healthcare strategy, planning, operations and business development. He excels in practice and service line development, P&L oversight, third party payer and health system contracting, medical practice and ambulatory care start-ups, specialty clinic network management and revenue cycle management.
Troy earned his BBA magna cum laude from St. Norbert College. He earned his MHA from the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health and his MBA with a Finance concentration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
When not working, he enjoys listening to live music, serving as his wife’s Sous-Chef, running, scuba diving, and downhill skiing.
Joan M Stone, CPA
Joan is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Medical Business Services. She has been in this role since 2002.
She brings over 30 years of financial and accounting knowledge with expertise in the healthcare space. Prior to working with MBS, Joan worked in public accounting for nine years. She maintains an active CPA license in the State of Minnesota.
Joan has experience with contracting and practice management, accounting system conversions, healthcare and facility taxes, plus treasury and risk management. Her diligent and experienced team provides meaningful financial information, planning, and analysis support to our clients.
Outside of work, she enjoys an active lifestyle outdoors, yoga, and serving on the board and finance committee of a non-profit service dog organization.
Eric is currently Chief Information Officer of Medical Business Services. He has served in the role since 2001.
He has experience working with hospitals, clinics, physician groups, and vendors in all areas of the Medical Industry. This includes PACS, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Interfaces, Enterprise phone systems, and Radiology Solutions.
Eric and his team provide IT related services including Networking Administration and Design, Computer and System Administration, Low Voltage Cabling, PACS Administration, Medical Solutions Service and Support, Help Desk, and 24 hour support.
In his free time, he enjoys going up to the lake, fishing, and playing golf.
Dené is currently the Business Office and Credentialing Director of Medical Business Services. She has been with the company since 1996.
She has over 20 years of experience working with Insurance Companies, Physician Practices, Practice Management Systems, and Clearinghouses. She also has extensive knowledge of the Revenue Cycle, Payer rules and requirements, ICD10 and CPT coding, and Performance Measures.
Dené and her team provide Medical Billing services including Coding, Accounts Receivables, Denial Management, Payment Posting, Patient Billing, and Custom Reporting. By utilizing the latest technology, they can help reduce Days in AR, Increase your collection percentage, and get your claims paid faster.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, watching sports, and traveling.
Jennifer is currently the Director of Human Resources for Medical Business Services. She has led the Human Resources Department since 2007.
The department provides a broad spectrum of Human Resources functions including but not limited to, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Recruiting & Retention, Payroll, Policy & Procedures, Compliance & Employee Relations and everything in between.
Jennifer has a breath of knowledge when it comes to Human Resources. She has over 20 years of experience working in Human Resources from non-profit to for-profit organizations. Mrs. Bahe has earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and MA in Business with an emphasis in HR from Concordia University. She also serves on the HHRAM board as Education Director.
When it comes to making those difficult HR decisions, Jennifer can help you walk through the process with ease.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, crafting, and planning her retirement.
Allison is the Director of Marketing for Medical Business Services and has been with the company since 2014.
She has experience developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns that promote products and/or services and enhance brand awareness. She has a deep understanding of the marketplace, customers, and industry drivers while taking into account the competition, clinical applications, and industry dynamics.
When not working, Allison enjoys hanging out with her husband and two children and running around to all of her kids’ activities.
